A female student of the Caleb University, Imota, Lagos State, Miss Tolulope Oluwayemisi Lawal, has emerged the best graduating after scoring a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.69.
A
total of 292 students were awarded first degrees at the university's
5th convocation
ceremony of the university; 13 in the First Class
Division, 113 in the second class (Upper Division), 119 in the second
class lower certificate and 49 left in the third class Division.
Lawal
topped the First Class Division, becoming the third female in a row to
emerge the best graduating student from 2013 to 2015.
In 2013, at the university's third convocation, Miss Boluwatife Oyekan topped the charts with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.75.
Miss Rita Uzoamaka Aladi made it two for the ladies in 2014 with an impressive Cummulative Grade Point Average of 4.80.
The last time a male student won it was at the second convocation where 20-year-old Abdul-Azeez Adeniji was named the best graduating student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.75.
