Karishma Walia is originally from Bengaluru, and currently works in Gurgaon as an analyst. She defended the relationship between her and her dog when she denied her groom-to-be marital bliss because he frowned upon having a dog. Bengaluru (also called Bangalore) is the capital of India’s southern Karnataka state.

The center of India’s high-tech industry, the city is also known for its parks and nightlife. In this part of the world, arranged marriage are still a thing and for Walia and her now denied husband-to-be, a dog came in between their possible love affair. Walia and her supposed Mr right had been talking for weeks in wake of an arranged marriage.

To get the ball rolling, they exchanged information about eachother, getting closer and looking forward to their union. However, the eligible bachelor was denied love after he mentioned that Lucy- Walia’s dog would be a problem.

The responsible man, said to be from a well-to-do family voiced his concerns in their messages and that’s when Walia proclaimed the marriage was definitely off.

Walia mum thought he was an excellent match and mentioned it was wrong and unnecessary that she raised the issue of her dog. Even when the he tried convincing her otherwise, she stood her ground and still called it off.
