3 questions about penis size, shape and performance answered...
Many men are not confident about their penis.
Of
all the things that worry about their sexual health, the size and shape
of their penis and their sexual performances in bed come tops.
Many
men are too conscious of the size and shape of their organs, thinking
that it is all about being very long and thick or being a reticular
shape.
Today, Wha’anda answers some questions about these:
- What's the average penis size? It is strange that many men think they have small penises. But, just to be clear, what is seen to be small not be small actually. The average penis length is about 5-10cm (2.5 to 4 inches) when limp and about 12-19cm (5 to 7 inches) when erect (hard). Unless your penis falls far under that category, then your penis okay. If it is indeed smaller, then you might have the micro-penis condition. Again, some men have penises that only get big when erect but look tiny when flaccid. Bottom line is that you should be more focused on using what you have well, learning skills and trying to understand your partner’s body. Focusing on your size will only affect your psychologically and make sex terrible.
- Does penis size affect sexual performance? It is the popular assumption that a larger penis equals better sex. But the truth is that the size of the penis, though important, is not the only thing involved in satisfying a partners sexually. Ability to use your penis, react to the specific partner’s needs and involve your mind and body in the sex act sometimes are more important. The size is only a small part that must be complemented with behaviours and bedroom skills/attitude.
- Is it normal to have a curved penis? A curved penis is normal if the curve is slight. In fact, it is common for the penis to curve slightly upwards or to the left or right, especially when erect. But, where the curve is very extreme and causes pain during sex, you might have a condition called Peyronie's disease, a condition where an anomalous scar tissue grows in the soft tissue of the penis. In that case, you need your doctor.
