Leader
of Ekpeye Liberation Front popularly known as General Igbudu and his
colleagues who allegedly held the towns and villages of Ekpeye kingdom
hostage, has met their Waterloo.

According to reports making rounds online, a notorious cultist and
militant leader of the Ekpeye Liberation Front, popularly called General
Igbudu and five of his commanders, have been killed in a gun duel by
the Joint Task Force at Ahoada East LGA in the Orashi region of Rivers
state on Saturday night.
It was gathered that the leader of the gang, General Igbudu and his
colleagues had held the towns and villages of Ekpeye kingdom hostage,
killing, maiming, robbing, rapping kidnapping unhindered until they met
their Waterloo at Odiemirenyi village were they were said to have
earlier attacked an army team attached to a multinational oil firm whose
staff were carrying out repair works on a damaged oil pipeline.
Another report stated that they were shot dead when they went on a
robbery operation on Ahoada East portion of the East West road.
Residents are currently streaming to the Police station to catch a
glimpse of the corpse of the gang that terrorised the area for long.
