It
is indeed the end of the road for some deadly kidnappers and child
trafficker who were caught by security operatives in Benue State.
The suspected kidnappers and traffickers paraded in Benue State
About 10 kidnappers and child traffickers who specialize in
stealing and selling of children have been arrested and paraded at the
Peoples House, Makurdi, Benue State.
They were paraded alongside their victims. Six School children have
been rescued, some were united with their parents while some are yet to
identify their parents.
The revelation was made by the Governor of Benue State, Samuel
Ortom while addressing newsmen at the old banquet hall in Makurdi.
The Governor said that the kidnappers and other criminals have no
place in Benue as he called on the people of the state to remain
resolute and assist the security agencies to apprehend more criminals in
the State as his government will continue to do its best to chase away
criminals so as to pave the way for investors to come in.
Those paraded were Adejo Ogiri who is said to be the syndicate’s
anchor man in Benue, Michael Uzochukwu Ezekiel, Afonne Edward Nwokocha,
Henry Ndukwe and Ifeanyi Sunday Isaac.
