Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state has called on the police to find the killers of his Chief Security Officer (CSO), Idowu Oyewole.
Oyewole, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), was reportedly killed by armed robbers on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
According to reports, the incident that cost the policeman his life, took place around Sango community, along Akure/Ado Ekiti road, Akure.
Governor Mimiko, in a condolence message to Oyewole’s family, prayed that God will wipe their tears.
He also said that the family will miss the presence of their bread winner, adding that he was dedicated to his work.
The Governor called on security agencies to ensure that the criminals who murdered his CSO are brought to book.
The message of condolence was delivered to Oyewole’s family by the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Kayode Akinmade, in Akure, on Friday, October 21, 2016.
